For whatever reason, we as humans have convinced ourselves that it’s better to not start than if we were to get to the table just a few minutes late.
Whether this means beginning a new vocation or getting a job that you probably should’ve worked towards much earlier in life, it is better to at least get out there than push it off until it’s actually too late.
We are concerned with others may think of us, our perception of ourselves is ultimately the greatest thing holding us back. But once when that disappears, everything begins to free up.
Less stress.
Less fear.
I’d rather show up to work fifteen minutes late and stay fifteen minutes later than not show up at all.
It’s a tough pill to swallow, and some behaviors may get you inevitably fired, but it’s better to face the consequences and learn from it than to not do it all.
I’d rather post on the blog at 3:57pm on a Sunday after a late night out, than to not post at all.
