No matter what you decide to do in life there will likely always be something else you might want to attain once you’ve achieved a certain goal.
Once you get that promotion, then you might want that fancy new car.
Once you make six figures in sales, then you want to do seven.
Once you reach your goal, then a new goal will be made.
Almost every time you will be seeking more.
The key here is to place a ceiling for yourself. It’s going to be incredibly hard to say no to wanting more, but that ceiling of “success” in whatever definition it may mean for you, is a necessary thing to place.
The crash may feel like you’ve failed, that you could be accomplishing more great things, however it’s the exact opposite. It’ll be hard to say goodbye to the business that you’ve built, even though you know that selling it was the right move.
Whatever it is, saying goodbye is probably the hardest thing a human can experience.
Your ceiling isn’t what defines you, it’s what makes you stable and offers a fulfilling life after you’ve reached your amount of success.
You’re not going down. You’re going exactly where you’re meant to be.
Instead remind yourself that you’ve done what you’ve always wanted to do, now you must find peace in your past, and see what venture you take on next, or don’t for that matter.
