A plan in life is usually necessary.
When you’re going on a vacation, you need to plan out where you’re staying, when the flight leaves.
If you’re studying for an exam, you should probably know the answers the best you can.
If you’re playing a sports game against a team, it’s going to be beneficial for you to know who you’re up against so you can alter your strategy if necessary.
A plan is great.
However, it is not always needed.
You can get lost in the city and have one of the best days of your life by having no plan at all.
Simply tossing yourself into an unknown world can be scary, but also extremely exciting.
By not knowing, you leave your options open, you are more attuned to taking your time, or discovering something new, that you previously wouldn’t have had time for if following a strict schedule.
So go do the thing, but try planning the least amount you possibly can. It can be better to not know and discover something, maybe it’s even something about yourself, along the way.
