Every morning when I wake up I try to allow myself a small amount of time to stretch.
This usually involves leaning down and touching my toes, then crawling all the way to a posh-up position and stretching into the downward dog position, I do a few other exercises when time allows, but those are the main two I try to stick with.
What this does for me, is to relax my muscles, and as my body feels more limber it feels much more ready to take on the day.
The thing about stretching is that it not only is good for your body, but it is also good for your mind.
Stretch your mind to be open to new things, more accepting, more open to opportunities, more chances to learn in a healthy way. It begins with the body, but it ends with the mind.
The more open your body, the more open your mind.
