There is only creation.
Once you get this thought and engrain it in your mind, any doubts you might have had are easily dismantled.
There is another business similar to yours, yes. But that means there is a place that you fit in, that the others don’t. That means you create different opportunities for your business, ones that the other doesn’t offer.
Instead of trying to outdo the competitor, you should see how much you can create in lieu of your competitor.
Once you see competition as creation, as thinking outside of the box, and certainly not as a reason to not keep going, you will become smarter, stronger and obtain tons more of a resilience from it.
